Dedicated to the life of Andrew Blanchard

This site is a tribute to Andrew Blanchard. We will miss his cheeky personality, witty jokes, his endless knowledge of music, football and cricket. You always found him pottering in the garden, deadheading or planting the many flowers Angela bought to transform the garden. He had a great capacity for remembering everything, including where he ranked in his school sports day races, and how long to the minute he worked at Clydesdale Bank. Please share any fond memories and photos you have of Andrew.

Thoughts

It's been a long time since I last saw you but what a sincere, loving man, father , husband you were. I fondly remember times we shared as two families with young children. We enjoyed lots of laughs, lots of beer and competitive spirits over numerous sporting events. I am so sad your life has been brought to a close but wish Angela and all our family peace and love for the future. Nikki Newing 🙏

Andrew was quite the professional at work and then at our after work drinks he drunk everyone under the table! He was fun and quite the entertainer. Last train home was always interesting as he’d disappear for a wee leaving seconds to jump on the train then spend the journey with his head out the window 🤮. He was the kindest making sure we was ok and took us teasing him about his bad back! Clydesdale Victoria and St James were lucky to have him working there as we were to have him as a friend . We have special memories to keep. We know how much he adored Angela he always told us especially when he’d had a few! It was great working with you Andrew now you sleep well ❤️ hugs to Angela and the family x

I have not got the words or wisdom to do AJB justice. He was a true brother. He was kind and generous in every possible way.Never short of strong and honest advice and never shrinking from what came his way.I feel as though a physical part of me is now missing and can never be replaced. He leaves a loving family who miss him every single day.I count myself lucky to have been your brother. Love you Andrew.
